My Crohn’s Disease shoes are probably the hardest ones in which I walk. I call them my combat boots, and when I’m wearing them, I am waging battle with daily pain, with food, and with self-image. Crohn’s Disease, an autoimmune disease that attacks the digestive system, is one of the two forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease which afflict 1.4 million people in the US (ulcerative colits is the other).
While I do not blog exclusively about my disease, I do sometimes feel the need to write about my challenges and experiences. You can find all my IBD-related posts in the Crohn’s Disease category (or just click that blue link over there).
Over the year’s I have found many great resources for IBD patients and caregivers.
